FastEat App
FastEat is a delivery application designed to enhance the user experience in high-traffic environments, such as stadiums and events. With the convenience of ordering food directly from your seat or scheduling a pick-up, FastEat aims to reduce queues and waiting times, allowing users to enjoy the event without interruptions. The project was developed with a focus on usability, simplicity, and efficiency to make the ordering experience as quick and intuitive as possible.
Challenge
Develop a delivery application tailored to high-traffic environments, such as stadiums and events, where users can order food directly from their seats or schedule a pick-up to avoid queues. The goal is to create a seamless, intuitive, and efficient experience, reducing waiting times and enhancing user satisfaction.
Problem
2- Pressure on staff and lower quality service:
Staff face high pressure to serve all customers, leading to an increase in the occurrence of errors.
The need for speed can compromise the quality of service, with incorrect or poorly prepared orders.
1- Long waiting times:
Fans spend a large part of the intermission in queues, wasting time that could be used for socialising.
Long queues generate frustration among customers, negatively affecting their experience.
3- Loss of sales:
Many customers give up on purchasing due to the queues, resulting in a loss of revenue.
Solution
1- Pre-order Food and Drink:
Users can pre-order food and drink through the app.
3- Notifications:
Users receive notifications when their orders are ready to be collected, so they can avoid waiting in queues at the bars.
2- Mobile Payment:
Allow users to pay for their orders directly through the app.
4- Interactive Stadium Map:
The app includes an interactive stadium map that shows the locations of the bars, allowing users to easily find the nearest collection point.
What do the fans say?
User personas
To better understand the target audience for this project, I created 4 fictional user personas based on research and common behaviours observed among stadium attendees.
Each persona highlights their goals, frustrations, and needs, providing valuable insights to guide the design and ensure the service aligns with the users' expectations and challenges.
